The Bourg is a modern village where women build genuine relationships and feel more connected to the communities they call home.
How it started
One question.
An overwhelming response.
In November 2025, a simple question was posted to TikTok: where do women in the Richmond area actually connect? Hundreds of women answered, all saying some version of the same thing.
They were here. They were looking. And they had no idea where to find each other.
What began as Ladies of Richmond became proof that women were not asking for more networking. They were asking for real friendship, shared experiences, and a stronger sense of belonging where they lived.
Why The Bourg
A name for the village
we were already building.
Bourg means village in French. It gives a name to the place women were already creating together: a community shaped by meaningful relationships, local experiences, and women showing up for one another.
As we grow into new cities, every local community keeps its own identity while belonging to one shared home. The name changed. The purpose did not.

Tiffany Williams founded the community after asking a question many women were quietly carrying: where do you go to build real friendships as an adult?
Her vision for The Bourg is simple: make it easier for women to find their people, experience life together, and feel at home in the communities where they live.
